Finding health care when a person has an existing condition and other issues can be quite a challenge. Attorney, Jennifer C. Jaff is the founder of Advocacy for Patients with Chronic Illness, which focuses on topics that pertain to those living with chronic conditions.  Patients can get free (depending on funding) information, advice and advocacy services for such topics as how to: obtain medical records, get and keep health insurance, get SS disability, assert rights under the ADA and more.

Audio aired in 2009 for The National Chronic Illness Awareness Week’s Online Seminars. NICIAW provides Online Seminars M-F once a year in September on BlogTalk Radio. NICIAW founded by Lisa Copen, founder of Rest Ministries. IDA has been thrilled to participate in NICIAW, help spread the word about it and/or be a guest speaker since its birth.
