Dr Susanna Choi was chosen for the IDA Healthcare Honors Award based upon her outstanding care for her patients and by understanding and implementing a fragrance free office friendly environment. As a result, she gives patients who live with Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, Toxic Injury, Asthma and Allergies, a safer office to visit.
Dr Susanna Choi Earned her B.A. in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from the University of Colorado – Boulder; earned her M.D. from the University of Colorado Medical Center in Denver in 1980; served a surgery internship at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and her OBGYN residency at St. Joseph Hospital – Denver. She has been in private practice since 1984 and currently with Integrated OBGYN.
Dr Choi is the Chairman of OBGYN at Parker Adventist Hospital, President of the Korean American Missional Health Council and a member of the Christian Medical and Dental Association. She has been on several medical mission trips to Pakistan, Cambodia, and North Korea. She is active at the Korean Christian Church where her father was the founding pastor. Dr. Choi is bilingual in Korean and English. She loves to encourage young healthcare workers to reach out through mission work, utilizing their profession to the fullest and to treat patients holistically.
