Nicole Pedra is the 2025 recipient of the Invisible Disabilities Association’s “But You LOOK Good” Inspiration Award. She has been chosen because as a model, actress, and advocate, she has bravely shared her journey with multiple sclerosis (MS) and other invisible disabilities. Diagnosed at age 10, Nicole kept her illness private for two decades before openly sharing her experiences. Nicole Pedra is an influential figure in the chronic illness community, an actress, and a model who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) at the age of 10. Originally from Boston, she now resides in Los Angeles and holds a degree in public health from Syracuse University. For 20 years, she kept her illness private, but eventually made the decision to use her background and years of experience with MS to help others. This experience of living with MS since childhood, which is a particularly uncommon and challenging journey, has given Nicole a unique perspective.
Nicole’s journey has been one of resilience and determination. She has navigated the challenges of her condition while pursuing her passions in the entertainment industry.
