Robert Cocke PhD - 2009 Research Award – Invisible Disabilities AssociationRobert Cocke PhD is the 2009 recipient of the IDA Research Honors Award. Dr Cocke was chosen based upon his extensive research in the area of psychoneuroimmunology, being passionate in discovering the relationship between the mind and disease resistance while serving as the Chairman of the Mind Science Foundation.

Robert Cocke PhD with 2009 Research Award – Invisible Disabilities AssociationDr Cocke received his B.A., M.A. and Ph.D., from the University of Texas at Austin and his PHS Post-doctoral Fellow at the Center for Psychoneuroimmunology at  the University of Rochester  Medical Center.

While on a trip to Austin Texas on October 31, 2009, IDA Executive Board Member Kris Harty and IDA President Wayne Connell presented the Research Award to Dr Cocke in person.
