Mike also recognized that there were other blind and visually impaired individuals possessing the expertise and capabilities required for success in the corporate landscape. Therefore, Mike focused BIT to commit to a future where professionals with disabilities are acknowledged and esteemed as an exceptional talent pool, making a significant impact on an organization’s strategic hiring endeavors, financial performance, and overall culture.

Joshin provides employers with improved employee engagement and performance with personalized transformational outcomes. Joshin also provides coaches a stress free connection opportunity with individuals living with disabilities and with caregivers. Ultimately, through Joshin, they have helped eliminate barriers to allow access to affirming support which empowers every employee to reach their full potential.

Pete Ohlin has been selected to be the 2024 recipient of the IDA’s But You LOOK Good Inspiration Award. Pete has been chosen based upon his vulnerability and willingness to publicly share his inspiring story of living with the trauma and anxiety from the childhood loss of a sister to meningitis, which almost killed him in college as well. Pete has used his passion and love for people which helped him create incredible music that brings healing and peace for people living with PTSD, depression, ADD, ADHD, anxiety and more.
