IDA Founder and President, Wayne Connell, will be a Special Guest Speaker for the Caregiver Symposium put on by Healings in Motion on November 12, 2011 in Stockton, California.

Healings in Motion offers “… insight and support throughout your period of recovery. We share stories of other survivors and we offer a place to vent, release and recharge to continue the fight to recover.”

This annual symposium features a day of workshops, motivational speakers, exhibits, and resources for family caregivers who make a difference in the lives of stroke survivors. Past Keynote Speakers include Gladys (G.G.) Taylor, mother of world-renowned brain scientist and stroke survivor Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor.
