Joe has served on IDA’s Board for nearly a decade and actively promotes the National Disability ID initiative that has become law in AK, CO & UT.

Joe Womack is a highly accomplished and versatile executive with a consistent track record of driving significant revenue growth, scaling businesses, and developing strong teams and partnerships. He combines his business acumen with a strong commitment to his community. His experience spans a range of industries, giving him a comprehensive understanding of business development, leadership, and strategic investment. His emphasis on “Growth Mindset,” mentorship, scalability, and community engagement make him a well-rounded and effective leader.

Joe’s career is defined by his ability to develop and implement strategies that generate substantial revenue growth. This is most prominently seen at Sun Microsystems, where he grew channels from $30 million to $3.7 billion. His strength lies not just in strategy, but in execution. 

Joe emphasizes a “Growth Mindset” as a key driver of his success. He has a proven track record of transforming business models for scalability. This is evidenced by his work at Vivos Therapeutics, where he “played a key role in reshaping the business model from a direct-center approach to a scalable model empowering dentists and doctors, which contributed to company growth and flexibility.” This focus on scalability demonstrates an understanding of how to leverage partnerships and empower others for growth.

Joe possesses a blend of entrepreneurial drive and investment savvy. Womack also exhibits strong leadership capabilities, demonstrated through his roles at Sun Microsystems, Texas Fireplace Express, and as Executive Chairman of Vivos. He also “spearheaded strategic direction, capital raises, and development of the leadership team” at Texas Fireplace Express.

Joe has served on the Board of the Invisible Disabilities Association for over 8 years and actively supports ongoing efforts to educate, connect, and empower people affected by disability; focusing on initiatives such as IDA’s National Disability ID initiative to promote disability-friendly legislation across multiple states, nationally and other countries.” The National Disability ID has become law in AK, CO, and UT and with legislation pending in other states.

Joe currently serves as a Partner with Advisor in Placement. They provide senior housing transitions from Skilled Nursing facilities to optimal, qualified placement. These transitions are often very emotional and challenging for families and the professionals from Advisor in Placement help navigate care and assisted living options with a straightforward, heart-centered approach.

Joe holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of North Texas and  Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary. Married to Jill for over 40  years, his greatest blessing has been their children Warren and Faye. Hobbies include  swimming, hiking and bike riding.
