Rocker Bret Michaels Lives with Type 1 Diabetes
Bret Michaels is a singer and musician, best known for being the front man for the rock band Poison. Michaels has recently gone solo with his album, “Custom Built.” Michaels was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when he was 6 years old. He has lived a very busy and full life despite the diabetes, but has recently battled some additional health issues – emergency appendectomy, a brain hemmorrhage in April 2010, hole in his heart and TIA.
