Spend An Evening with IDA Every October
Every October, the Invisible Disabilities Association hosts an amazing evening of encouragement, education and connection. IDA presents 10 Honor Awards to incredible individuals and businesses making a difference in their communities. Attendees also enjoy a delicious dinner, live and silent auctions and enlightening presentations from IDA Board Members or Special Guests. IDA has been honored to have amazing Keynote Speakers, Strong Spirit Unlimited’s Kris Harty, Hall of Fame Speaker and Humorist, Karyn Buxman, RN, MSN and Former Professional Baseball Player, Ed Hearn (10/2010).
IDA Reaches Listeners on the Radio
IDA Founder and President, Wayne Connell has had many wonderful opportunities to share about IDA and living with invisible disabilities on the radio in Denver, CO and Nationally. Connell has educated and encouraged thousands of radio listeners on KRKS Radio AM 84.7, KOSI 101.1 FM, the Yvonne Pierre Show and KEZW Radio 1430 AM, BlogTalkRadio, National Invisible Chronic Illness Awareness Week, as well as multiple airings on KLOVE Radio and Air1 Radio reaching on 634 stations nationwide. IDA Touches Lives
The Invisible Disabilities Association has enjoyed being a part of so many wonderful seminars, events and radio programs over the years – offering education, encouragement, awareness and a great time! We have reached out through many of our own seminars as well as spoken at seminars for such groups as the Lupus Foundation of Colorado, Arthritis Foundation, Sjogren’s Syndrome Foundation, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Qwest Communications and The National Invisible Chronic Illness Awareness Week Online Seminars.
